Free Travel in Western Australia is readily available to most areas, so with the school holidays being in July, only in a couple of weeks, a time when people say it’s the perfect time to travel to Bali. However, maybe it’s the perfect time to see what our beautiful state has to offer these are some of the best travel destinations you should travel these holidays;

1. Down South

Everyone knows the perfect getaway when you’re living in Perth is going “down south”. A 3 hours drive from Perth there is something for everyone allowing for everyone to have an amazing getaway in this region. With some of the best beaches and wineries that Australia has to over, it’s the place for your weekend getaway.

With Margaret River known for it’s chilled out surfy vibe and great wineries! If you’re looking for a chilled out weekend then look no further.

Although, if you that’s not you’re cup of tea Dunsborough is the place to go, An amazing place to call home for the weekend, if you want to drink in the day and party at night but still get the Down South experience.

2. Gnarloo Station

If an “Off the grid” getaway is more up you’re alley than Gnarloo station up north is the perfect place. Starting with a 12-hour drive from Perth, The drive may be long but it’s definitely worth the drive!

with a desert vibe, where the weather is always good no matter what season it is. Surfing, Camping and Fishing are all that this place is about. Red dirt and beach sand are all over Gnarloo. Although, if you’re not prepared to get dirty then it’s definitely not the place for you.

3. Albany/Denmark

It’s got everything down south has when it comes to beaches and scenery. But if you’re looking for a chilled out peaceful getaway it’s the perfect place, with beaches stretching for miles with practically no one on them it’s maybe the quite peaceful weekend getaway you were dreaming of in isolation.
