Taylor Swift has dropped surprise iso album!

Taylor Swift has surprised fans over the last 24 hours, announcing her 8th studio album titled ‘folklore’. She took to her Instagram yesterday announcing the album and that fans only had 12 hours until the release.
Swift wrote along with the announcement ‘Most of the things I had planned this summer didn’t end up happening, but there is something I hadn’t planned on that DID happen. And that thing is my 8th studio album, folklore.’ she continued ‘I’ll be releasing my entire brand new album of songs I’ve poured all of my whims, dreams, fears, and musings into. I wrote and recorded this music in isolation’.

Swift has also released the first music video of the album along with it for the song ‘cardigan’. The video was shot during the coronavirus pandemic but Swift has stated ‘entire shoot was overseen by a medical inspector, everyone wore masks, stayed away from each other, and I even did my own hair, makeup, and styling.’ Check it out below.
