Student charged with weapon possession at Perth school
A student at Willetton High School was charged for taking a knife and a gel gun to the school yesterday afternoon.
Police were called around 2:30pm yesterday afternoon the alarm was raised.
Principal Trevor Hunter stated in an email sent to parents ‘’I want to assure you that no other students were impacted and the situation was well managed’’
Gel Blaster guns aren’t illegal and shoot gel bullets, however they look authentic and can be used to intimate someone.
The student will appear in the Perth Children’s Court today.
Hollywood actor Jerry Stiller dies at 92
Father of Hollywood actor Ben Stiller has died overnight at the age of 92
Jerry Stiller was best known for his roles in Seinfeld and Zoolander. Jerry featured in 26 Seinfeld seasons as George’s father. Jerry’s and his late wife Anne Meare were a top comedy act on The Ed Sullivan show in the 1960s where they met.
Meare and Jerry Stiller are recognised with a star on the Hollywood walk of fame.
English Premier League won’t return until June
The UK Government has announced there will be no professional sport played in the country until June 1 at the earliest.
This also comes as the FA have told the Premier League chairman that the season will not be voided.
This comes as the Bundesliga (German first division) will be returning this weekend.
