AFL Fans Rejoice For The Closest Thing to Footy

Australian Football fans rejoice after the early release of AFL evolution 2 last week. The 2020 AFL home and away season starting just how it ended, surrounded in great drama and mystery. For many footy fans, it was a long summer waiting for round 1 to start and then before we knew it was over again. However, now lovers of the Australian game can indulge in everything AFL on their favourite platform.

When game developers Wicked Witch Software announced they would be releasing a sequel to AFL Evolution fans rejoiced for a follow up of the first game. Although many were disappointed as the game was the exact same as the first with a player updates. All that seems like nothing now because the closest thing to watching a game of Friday Night Footy at the moment is playing a game on your console.

Matthew Arrowsmith one of the hosts of the Warm Up is currently running a simulated season on AFL Evolution 2. Along with his other Warm Up host Bryant Van Dijken, Isaac Muir and 15 others. They have created their own custom teams through a draft system as Matthew simulates and commentates a season. The season is currently being live-streamed every weekend on Facebook on the page Swedish Sports.

Overall AFL Evolution 2 is just a slightly updated various of the first one, which really questions why the game developers took so long to update the game, however, many footy fans don’t seem to mind as it’s a way to continue supporting your team!
