Severe weather to hit Perth
The Bureau of Meteorology is warning Perth residents of severe weather including a cold front and destructive winds.
“We’re expecting widespread damaging winds to about 100 kilometres per hour, but in localised areas those winds could exceed 125kph.” BOM’s Bradley Santos told the ABC.
“We’re expecting the strong cold front to be near the South West capes around 5:00pm or 6:00pm, getting to Perth around 8:00pm, so that’s the period of the worst weather,” Mr Santos said.

Ambitious plan to bring EPL to Perth
Perth based English football agent, Gary Williams has met with WA Sports Minister and Venues West as part of an ambitious plan to bring English Premier League football to Perth for the remainder of the league season.
Despite WA Premier Mark Mcgowan saying “it’s a big ask” its believed that Venues West and Optus Stadium may be open to the idea.
“There’s a Plan A among EPL clubs to complete the season there at neutral venues but not everyone is happy with it, unless they take relegation off the table,” Williams told SBS’ The World Game
“We are offering a Plan B, and we have a number of clubs who like the idea.”
“If, after meeting Venues West, it still looks viable I will put it back to the Premier League and put the two in touch with each other.
“We’ve also had positive discussions with the Sports Minister here, as well as securing the support of Football West.”
