NSW woman fined for quarantine shopping spree
Ignoring self isolation restrictions has landed a NSW woman in hot water.
The 65 year old had just returned from a trip to Indonesia, and instead of staying in isolation for the required 14 day period, She opted to go on a shopping spree.
She had allegedly visited seven separate retail stores before police located the woman in her car hours later and issued her a $1000 fine.
She is just one of a slew of offenders, who have received fines for breaching self-isolation laws.
103 year old woman beats COVID19
ITALY: A 103 year old woman has successfully recovered from COVID-19.
Ada Zanusso fell ill in her retirement home in Northern Italy in early March, despite 21 other residents of the Residenza Maria Grazia retirement home dying due the coronavirus Ada was thankful for her recovery.
“Someone up there must have forgotten about me,” Ada joked.
She is due to turn 104 later this month.
Italy has now reported up to 525 new deaths caused by COVID19, which is the lowest figure since mid March with the number of recovered patients in Italy increasing by 3.9%.

From a nation’s collective boredom, a lighthearted trend has been born with people dressing up in order to take their bins out.
Queenslander Danielle Askew, dared her friend to dress up while taking the bins out, as a quick joke. Ms Askew then created the Facebook Page: ‘Bin Isolation Outing’, where several Aussies posted pictures of themselves taking the bins out in costumes.
Some even dressed the bins themselves up. The page amassed a following of over 200,000 people and will go down as one of the strangest viral trends to be born from a pandemic.
